i promised i'll update so here i am.
arrived on the 9th. waited for the bus to send me to the uni. reached the hostel and checked in. room was kinda dirty. went dinner with parents and cousin's family. stayed over at my cousin's place during the weekend. went back early monday morning. orientation for me, cleaning the room for my mom, fixing up the com for my dad. haha. still couldnt get the com done for quite awhile during the orientation week. finally got it fixed a few days before my parents left on the 19th.
orientation is boring. just talks. haha. no games like what we had in pj. got to know quite alot of sporeans. few m'sians. so from other countries. but dunno why i feel more comfortable talking to ppl from home. haha. not like im against ppl from other countries, just cant click.
lectures started this week. tutorials next week. only the compulsory foundation unit (general unit everyone has to take, got a few choices on the units) has both lectures and tutorials this week. haha. so far i have one entire day free. haha. back home is like everyday no matter what need to go sch. here there isnt even 1class on thurs for me. whee. some of them even have 2days free.
some stuff here is cheap. like clothes and stuff. eating out is ex so cooking ur meals by urself is cheaper. beach stuff here is super cheap!!!! haha. but it really is quite boring cuz shops close at 5pm everyday except for thurs (9pm). starting to feel bored alr cuz there's not much sch and nothing else to do. haha.
cant really say anything else cuz nothing much has happened here lah. tv nights with the spore ppl cuz we somehow like the same shows. haha. oh, movies here cost quite alot. from A$9 - A$11. that's only in the suburbs. dunno how much movies in city costs.
ok. i'll end here. i can always keep in touch thru email cuz internet quite ex in my hostel (4cents for 1MB) so msn quite ex. i might take time to reply but i will.
