so far the week hasnt been that good.
1. heard really sad news abt a very good fren.
2. dad went to hospital.
3. i feel homesick more than ever.
1. im really sorry girl. i wish i was back home with u. u're doing the right thing by keeping urself busy. but dont be too busy u dont have time to rest k? u muz take care of urself too. dont be too sad k, im still here for u :)
2. dad went to hospital yesterday. had some gastric pains, and the company doctor asked sent him to the hospital to check if there was anything wrong with the heart. he stayed the night in the hospital. nothing serious, juz the gastric pain causing pressure on the heart. more money spent means they gotta work more :(
3. homesickness comes to me in waves. i wake up thinking "another day.." wash up, switch on the computer, have breakfast in front of it and the feeling fades away. walk to class from my flat, a wave might hit me. reach class and the feeling fades. in lectures and tutorials, small little things will remind me of home. sometimes it comes, sometimes it doesnt. walk back to my flat from class, again it might hit me it might not. at night, if i dont have any homework and im juz doing nothing on the com, another wave might hit me. if i have homework, and im stuck, i'd be thinking "wish i cld've someone i cld ask" and it hits me that im not at home. i welcome slp, cuz it means the wve dont hit me. i look forward to the weekends cuz that's when im the "closest to home" at my cousin's place. the waves dont hit me that much there. when it's time to come back to my flat on sunday, i dont wanna come back.
then the cycle repeats itself. high tide, low tide, high tide, low tide...
im afraid that one day there'll be a huge tidal wave and the walls wld juz collapse.
hope the rest of the week is fine. i have a feeling im gonna fail the test tho. not really prepared for it. it's tmr and im still here blogging. 10% of my final mark gone. hopefully i can just pass.
time to study for the test.
